Review of Change of Plans by Dee Lloyd

I had the pleasure of reviewing a book entitled "Change of Plans" by Dee Lloyd. It is as follows:
Change of Plans
By Dee Lloyd
Publisher: Amber Quill Press, LLC
ISBN # 1-59279-484-X

Mike and Sara didn't plan on falling in love. His long-time friend and recent fiancee had eloped with her boss before Mike arrived home from a contracting job in Africa. Disillusioned and angry, he is looking for a fun-loving woman to share his honeymoon stateroom.

Sara has never been in love but she does want a family. She plans to spend the cruise considering a marriage proposal from Stephen, a wealthy electronics engineer whose political career her father, a retired state senator, is encouraging. She is fond of Stephen but wonders if she should settle for less than her dreams.

Someone on the cruise is out to get Sara and she doesn’t have a clue as to why. Between Sara and Mike, and some unexpected allies, they try to discover who is trying to rob and kill Sara. But under the romantic tropical moon, the best laid plans . . .

Dee Lloyd has written an excellent, excellent story with lots of suspense. Mike and Sara must overcome the odds playing against them, along with their vulnerable feelings regarding relationships, and learn to believe in their trust for one another. The characters are very well developed. I am definitely looking forward to reading more by Dee. She has a definite winner with this book and I would highly recommend this story.
